Both sides are yet to win in Group I, as Konyaspor lost to Marseille and Vitoria drew with Red Bull Salzburg. Konyaspor’s and Vitoria’s recent form in the Europa League has been extremely poor. Konyaspor have lost six of their previous seven European games, and have failed to score in five of those outings. Vitoria themselves have also failed to win in any of their last eight Europa League fixtures so this fixture provides an opportunity for both sides to start to put that bad form to rest. Vitoria lie in 8th place in Liga Nos and have only taken ten points from seven games, and have also been poor away from home of late. They haven’t won in their lost four away fixtures, and have only managed two goals in those games. Konyaspor will be looking to capitalise on their away struggles. They themselves have lost only one of their last five home games, winning three of them to nil. It’s to be seen if they can take that form into the Europa League. With both sides lacking a goal scoring threat previously in European competitions, we are backing both teams to not score in this meeting. This can be priced at 9/10. These two haven’t met before. With Konyaspor winning three of their last five at home we feel they will win here. Vitoria have failed to offer any real threat going forwards and have struggled to score away from home. For our correct score prediction we fancy Konyaspor to win 2-0 at 19/2.
